This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate Katie Lindquist and Whitney Conaghan for their dedication to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Professionals Section, where they are helping shape the future of the industry.
Katie is marking her fifth year on the committee, serving as Immediate Past Chair, a role that allows her to provide guidance and continuity after leading the section in 2024. Her contributions over the years have helped connect and support countless emerging PR professionals as they navigate the early stages of their careers.
“It’s my fifth year on the New Pros Executive Committee, and looking back, this section has opened so many doors for me,” says Katie. “Now, I just want to give back and offer the same support that was generously given to me. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity.”
Whitney is stepping into an exciting new role as Membership Chair, where she will focus on welcoming new members, building a strong sense of community and ensuring they have access to the resources they need to thrive.
“After the meaningful experience I had with PRSSA in college, joining PRSA felt like a natural next step to continue learning and build connections with like-minded professionals,” says Whitney. “Through the New Professionals Section, I’m passionate about fostering growth, strengthening connections and supporting my industry peers.”
