Director of Clients Services

The director of client services is responsible for big-picture strategy, planning and program execution, as well as the day-to-day management of client relationships. The director will also proactively steward and advise clients toward achieving agreed upon goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

EXTERNAL CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Onboard clients and become familiar with the client’s industry and all elements of the scope of services
  • Ensure the success of designated client programs and projects based on client goals, objectives, tactics and budget to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Exhibit a clear demonstration of proactive ways dovetail can bring value to each client
  • Drive client workflow and program elements and manage programs efficiently and effectively

INTERNAL DOVETAIL SOLUTIONS EXPERIENCE

  • Attend regularly scheduled internal meetings and other opportunities dovetail solutions sponsors/hosts/volunteers/etc.
  • Support internal agency workflow as well as marketing and business development initiatives
  • Manage direct reports in a clear and consistent manner and provide timely feedback to assist in their growth
  • Manage up to VP to ensure the firm’s success and strategic goals are well supported
  • Invest in both professional and community development initiatives
  • Understand, live by, and share dovetail solutions core values

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, public relations, communications, or business
  • 5-10 years in public relations (in-house experience a plus), or related industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Mac systems, virtual and Google applications
  • Extensive practical use and application of AP-style writing
  • Ability to track time accurately and transparently in digital platform daily
  • Proficient with Meltwater (Media Software) platform a plus
  • Proficient in client reporting programs and systems

Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000

Benefits:

  • Profit sharing as applicable based on individual and company performance

Vacation (after 90 days)/Sick Time:

Putting a cap on this important time doesn’t help our effort to achieve high levels of employee satisfaction and productivity. This policy is based on mutual trust between employer and employee. It gives employees opportunities to work or take time off as they see fit, as long as job responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • We do not award sick time, rather we support our staff in taking the time they need when they are ill or have personal appointments (per our flex schedule), within reason.

Client Services Partner

dovetail solutions’ client services partner is responsible for supporting client programs. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day client programs with dovetail’s directors. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Garner understanding of dovetail solutions suite of services we provide to clients
  • Provide initial drafts of content (press releases, blog posts, social media, articles, ad copy, email campaigns, etc.) and support in the delivery to completion on behalf of client programs
  • Ability to build, manage and monitor digital marketing campaigns
  • Use tools provided by the company to track, update, and manage programs effectively
  • Execute on time, within budget and with deliverables that exceed client expectations
  • Communicate with and report to Directors on a daily/weekly basis to ensure client expectations are being met/exceeded

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, public relations, communications, or business
  • 3-5 years of marketing, PR, communications, or similar experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Effectively markets the company and supports new business endeavors
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000
