the ripple effect

Uncertainty is often viewed as something to eliminate or at least minimize. Entities build forecasts, strategic plans, budgets, and risk management processes to create predictability. Yet history shows that uncertainty is also one of the greatest catalysts for innovation, resilience, and growth. In many cases, certainty can lead to complacency, while uncertainty forces organizations to evolve. I know I have been a part of organizations who have realized their greatest path forward in times of instability.
Uncertainty sparks innovation when the future is unclear, companies are compelled to think differently. They question assumptions, experiment with new ideas and challenge the status quo.
Many of today’s most successful services and products were born during periods of disruption because traditional approaches no longer worked. At dovetail we have, become more comfortable with being uncomfortable and produce amazing results as we are also building a path forward for ourselves and our client partners. Every day is an opportunity to grow smarter, become more agile and more efficient as a direct result of our surroundings.
Thanks for being a part of this journey with us.
“Necessity may be the mother of invention, but uncertainty is often the catalyst.”

We’re proud to announce that our client-partner, Cherry Hills Country Club, has been named host of the 31st Annual Arnold Palmer Cup, June 7-13, 2027
The prestigious Ryder Cup-style tournament features competing U.S. and international teams made up of the top collegiate men’s and women’s golfers competing together as teammates — making it the only major golf competition of its kind.

Next year will mark the second time that the club will welcome the world’s top collegiate golfers. Cherry Hills previously hosted the Arnold Palmer Cup in 2009 and now joins an exclusive group of elite venues that have staged the event multiple times.

strategic community investment

Earlier this quarter, Whitney volunteered at the Mile High United Way Women United Village, a community event that connects local families with essential resources, support services and everyday necessities. While helping at the children’s craft station, Whitney joined fellow volunteers in creating a welcoming environment where families could access valuable community resources and receive items such as diapers, wipes, books, clothing and other child care essentials. Events like Women United Village demonstrate the power of community partnerships and the importance of ensuring families have access to the support they need to thrive. We love to see our team giving back in ways that strengthen the communities we serve!

Our team was honored to attend the Women’s Bean Project’s Ready, Set, Grow 2026 graduation celebration and fundraising luncheon alongside our client partner Mackenzie Daley from Neenan Archistruction and Lori Prosio of Prosio Communications. We believe strong communities are built through opportunity, partnership and investing in people. Celebrating the graduates and the life-changing work of the Women’s Bean Project was a meaningful reminder of the impact we can make when organizations come together.

Members of our team had the privilege of attending he 2026 State of Cherry Creek Breakfast on May 15th, hosted by the Cherry Creek Alliance of which our CEO, Andy Boian, serves as chairman of the board and was honored to serve as the events emcee.
This event brought together local businesses to socialize and network, bringing the community together to reflect on Cherry Creek’s and its part in the Denver economy. Three client partners attended this event with us, Jennifer Byrden, Co-Founder and President of CODA Construction Group, Michael Laszlo, partner at Clark Hill, Western Development, President Tom Plisko.
The event revolved around keynote Speaker Willy Walker, CEO and founder of Walker & Dunlop, and client partner Matt Joblon as they discussed Denver’s competitiveness and how Cherry Creek can serve as a catalyst to Denver’s resurgence.
Reimagine Denver: Stadium City
We recently attended the Denver Business Journal’s Reimagine Denver: Stadium City event as a guest of our client partner, CODA Construction Group. The program brought together leaders from across Denver’s development community to discuss the future of the city’s urban core, including planned investments, mixed-use projects and the continued evolution of the Stadium District. We are energized by the development activity on the horizon, especially the development for the Colorado Summit, the team owned by dovetail board member and former chairman, Rob Cohen.

Team member Jack Holleran recently attended the Denver Women Leading Real Estate Awards hosted by Bisnow, which brought together some of the region’s most influential leaders to discuss the future of downtown Denver, evolving workplace trends and the opportunities shaping Colorado’s commercial real estate market. The experience served as a reminder of the tremendous impact women leaders have had on Denver’s real estate community and the many mentors, client partners and professionals who continue to help shape the future of our city.
