Longtime business and community leader to help guide the firm’s strategic growth and future vision
DENVER — June 16, 2026 — dovetail solutions, a full-service communications and marketing firm with offices in both Colorado and California, appointed Bruce Alexander as the next chairman of the board, effective February 20, 2026. He succeeded Rob Cohen in the position, who served as chairman for dovetail solutions since 2007. Cohen will remain on the board and will serve as chairman emeritus.

Alexander comes to the position after nearly four years on the board, where he helped guide dovetail solutions’ continued advancement and success as a firm. He brings considerable leadership experience to the role, having served as president and CEO of Vectra Bank Colorado for 25 years. During his tenure, Vectra Bank’s assets grew from $1 billion to $4 billion.
Alexander has proven his commitment to community investment and service through his additional roles on various boards, including the Kansas City / Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve, the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, Nature Conservancy, the Denver Housing Authority, the Colorado Forum, Visit Denver and the Colorado Bankers Association. From his leadership history within private, public and nonprofit sectors, Alexander brings a broad skillset to the position that will help to support dovetail solutions’ long-term growth and accelerate the trajectory the firm is stepping into.
