As the season changes, the dovetail solutions team is looking forward to longer days and signs of spring. It may be too soon to pack away the parkas (at least in Denver), but there are plenty of opportunities to get out and about at events in the coming months.

Whether you’re looking for networking opportunities or a chance to enjoy the best of music, food, art and culture, here are a handful of events worth attending in the places dts calls home:

DENVER

April 3: Even though the probability for snow is still high, summer will feel that much closer as the Colorado Rockies kick off their home opener at Coors Field. Tickets available at: https://www.mlb.com/rockies/tickets

April 17: Downtown Denver Partnership will celebrate transformative businesses, organizations, events and projects at their 2020 Downtown Denver Awards at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. April 28: NAIOP Colorado is hosting the Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge, which pairs graduate-level students from the University of Colorado and the University of Denver with industry leaders to evaluate development opportunities. The 2020 competition is focused on solutions for the Denver International Airport site.

May 16: Don’t miss one of Denver’s premier music events at the Five Points Jazz Festival. The free event celebrates the rich history and culture of one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.

May 27: Downtown Denver Partnership hosts the State of Downtown Denver event at the Hyatt Regency Denver.

June 6-7: The dts team will have front-row seats to the Denver Chalk Art Festival, when professional and amateur artists transform Larimer Square into an outdoor museum with chalk art street murals. The event is free and open to the public.

SACRAMENTO

May 1: The 2020 concert season kicks off in early May when Downtown Sac hosts its free summer concert series at Cesar Chavez Plaza, at the intersection of 9th and J Streets. Bookmark the Downtown Sac website for details on all the bands playing.

June 3-4: Join industry-leading developers, marketers, designers and innovators who are setting the pace for technological innovations in business at the two-day TECHSPO Silicon Valley conference at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel.
