As an aspiring professional in communications, Juliana Willson is interning with dovetail solutions this summer to assist with media relations, client coordination and PR strategy. Entering her fourth year at Colorado State University, Juliana is pursuing a degree in journalism and media communications with a concentration in strategic communication and a minor in business administration. Throughout her coursework, she has developed skills and experience in writing for PR and advertising, communications campaigns, social media management and digital media marketing.

Before joining dovetail solutions for the summer, Juliana interned with Colorado State’s athletic department this past year as part of the strategic communications team. Her work for the department included writing media releases for the teams, maintaining website content and assisting with social media management. This experience has shaped Juliana to be a detail-oriented, efficient and versatile contributor in a communications setting. She will return to CSU Athletics next fall with expanded responsibilities in PR execution and internal communications.

Through her academic and industry experience, Juliana has developed a passion for working within a communications team to execute campaigns, develop strategies and utilize creativity within public relations and advertising. She is excited for the opportunity to intern with dovetail this summer and expand her skills for her future career in the field.

Born and raised in Denver, Juliana enjoys live music, watching/playing sports, spending time outdoors and going to the movies.
