As the President and Chief Operating Officer, Emily is responsible for the oversight of the client services team and their client programs, coordinating and ensuring the success of each at a high-level. Emily is also responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the firm’s operations. Emily designs, implements and oversees policies that promote company culture, its mission and vision and ensures the effectiveness of all operational processes and procedures.

A Colorado native with more than 20 years of experience in communications, Emily joined dovetail solutions, serving first as marketing coordinator from 2009-2010, then chief of staff until 2012 and director of operations through 2014. In 2015, she was promoted to chief operating officer and oversees all operational aspects of the firm. At the beginning of 2023, Emily assumed the presidency role and ensures the firm, team and client experience are revolutionary and continuously elevated.

At the University of Arizona, Emily pursued interdisciplinary studies which was comprised of communications, psychology and Spanish. Trained in the various cognitive styles of individuals, she is skilled at effective communication, giving and receiving feedback, team building and the overall management of a company.

Emily is a certified associate for Emergenetics which believes that who you are today is the powerful combination of your genetic makeup and life experiences. Emergenetics decodes the intersection of nature and nurture and through that, Emily provides the firm and its clients with the understanding and tools needed to connect with others, fuel talent development, build better teams, empower education and create global connections.

Emily is also a lifetime member of the Western Stock Show Association, currently sits on the Metro Denver EDC Board of Governors and was awarded the Denver Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2024. She is an active member of the Denver community and is an alumnus of the Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program. As an animal lover, Emily is a supporter of Soldier’s Best Friend, an organization with the mission to train and place rescued service dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD. She also volunteers and is active at St. Mary Catholic School & Church.

Aside from her career, Emily is a devoted wife and mother and soaks up every moment of life she can with her incredible husband, 5-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter and golden retriever.
