As the president of dovetail solutions, Jennifer Bulotti provides marketing and PR counsel to clients and helps guide the company’s business development and strategic initiatives. A California native with more than 30 years of experience in public affairs, public relations, branding and marketing, Jennifer is based in the dovetail Sacramento office.
Jennifer’s experience includes work on behalf of organizations in the high-tech, biotech, financial services, land use, hospitality, automotive, philanthropic and entertainment industries, among others. In addition to extensive private-sector experience, Jennifer has helped facilitate local, statewide, and national public information and community relations campaigns ranging from land use and social justice to public infrastructure, capital improvement, and transportation. Her clients have ranged from successful technology startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Jennifer supports organizations committed to supporting children’s initiatives and the fight against human and child sex trafficking through prevention, rescue, restoration and reintegration programs.
As a co-founder of 3Strands Global and 3Strands Shop, organizations dedicated to ending human trafficking, Jennifer helps lead efforts to increase awareness about the issue globally. She oversees fund development initiatives and establishes partnerships to further the fight against human trafficking around the world through advocating for prevention education in schools, rescue and recovery efforts, restoration of victims and employment for survivors. Jennifer has developed an international Advisory Council, garnering the support and interest of Nashville, artists, entertainers, businesses, the media and thought leaders around the world to create a world free from modern day slavery. Although a significant amount of her work is global, she helped initiate California AB 1227, a bill signed into law by Governor Brown mandating prevention education to fight human trafficking in grades 5-11 in California and helped drive an online platform to “train the teacher” application. She also helped initiate an employment program for survivors of human trafficking and at-risk youth in collaboration with the Kings Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of partners, spokespersons and sponsors.
Jennifer is the former board president, marketing chair and Western delegate for the American Heart Association (Golden Empire Division), and is a founding board member of Hope Productions, a nonprofit dedicated to raising nonprofits to the next level by training 22 selected organizations how to raise funds, market, manage financials, navigate donor relationships and create greater engagement in their communities. She has also served on the Sac Region Brandathon committee and volunteers with several community organizations in Northern California.
She is also a former board member for Agape International Missions and has served both in the U.S. and in Cambodia in her role as board member and founder of 3 Strands Shop. Jennifer also supports the El Dorado Community Foundation and Hands4Hope in El Dorado County.
Jennifer holds a B.A. in Organizational Communications from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA). She is also a trained group facilitator.
