She oversees fund development initiatives and establishes partnerships to further the fight against human trafficking around the world through advocating for prevention education in schools, rescue and recovery efforts, restoration of victims and employment for survivors. Jennifer has developed an international Advisory Council, garnering the support and interest of Nashville, artists, entertainers, businesses, the media and thought leaders around the world to create a world free from modern day slavery. Although a significant amount of her work is global, most recently she helped the organization initiate and co-author AB 1227, a bill signed into law by Governor Brown mandating prevention education to fight human trafficking in grades 5-11 in California and helped drive an online platform to “train the teacher” application.
