Client Services Partner
Marissa Hoffman provides extensive client assistance to dovetail solutions as a client services partner, calling upon her solid educational background in the areas of public relations and reporting.
Previously, she worked closely with BeadforLife, a Boulder-based nonprofit organization that has a strong international presence. Marissa helped the company to directly target its sought-after college demographic, specifically CU students. Marissa also has experience as a staff reporter for Colorado Engineer Magazine, CU’s only student magazine, receiving awards for her published material. She then worked with the in-house marketing and communications department for Centura Health, the state’s largest healthcare provider. Here she assisted with the company’s social media efforts and helped manage both community and internal communication. Marissa also interned at the presentation desk of the Boulder Daily Camera.
A recent graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Marissa earned degrees in news/editorial journalism and Spanish, as well as an international media certificate. Through her studies Marissa has learned to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Marissa has found a passion for connecting her professional skills with community needs. She serves on the Marketing Committee & Event Team of MaxFund, Denver’s only no-kill animal shelter. In her role she helps with the organization’s marketing needs, fundraising efforts and event planning. Among her responsibilities, she assists with the planning and execution of Puttin’ on the Max, one of Denver’s most popular black-tie galas. She also was responsible for redesigning the nonprofit’s marketing collateral.
Marissa also serves on the Project C.U.R.E. Volunteer Board and Placement Committee. She assists with the sorting, orientation and placement of Denver’s 4,200 individual and group volunteers. Marissa has been a member of the Volunteer Board since its inception, helping to launch the initiative in the Denver warehouse. If successful in Denver, the processes established by the board will be implemented nationally across the organization.
