As director of client services, Marissa is responsible for big-picture strategy, planning and program execution on behalf of dovetail’s clients, as well as the day-to-day management of client relationships.

Since 2012, Marissa Hoffman has been an integral member of the dovetail solutions client services team, calling upon her background in the areas of public relations, strategic communications, community engagement and journalism. She has experience driving results for clients across a wide breadth of professional services including real estate, architecture, construction, finance, law, and trade associations, among others. Marissa thrives on honing into each client’s unique voice and perspective to craft messages of impact, and bringing this perspective into published media pieces to draw maximum visibility.

A Colorado native and graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Marissa now lives in Sacramento. With deep ties to both markets, Marissa offers a distinct perspective spanning both of dovetail solutions’ offices.

Marissa has found a passion for connecting her professional skills with her personal desire to fill community needs. She has most recently served on the Project C.U.R.E. Volunteer Board, developing the Denver warehouse’s quarterly newsletter. Marissa also previously served on the Marketing Committee & Event Team of MaxFund, Denver’s only no-kill animal shelter. In her role she helped with the organization’s marketing needs, fundraising efforts and event planning.

Marissa enjoys travel and experiencing cultures throughout the world. So far, her most formative experience was visiting Spain, a country with rich history that she had been studying for most of her life as a Spanish major.
