making a difference
Jeremy is an active member of Denver’s philanthropic community. For example, he serves on the board of directors and as communications committee chair for AfricAid, a Denver-based nonprofit that helps give young women in Africa hope for a brighter future and a fighting chance for a meaningful education. Jeremy joined AfricAid after experiencing first-hand the stunning poverty and lack of hope in Kenya and Tanzania. To date, AfricAid has helped improve the lives of more than 40,000 young women who have, in turn, helped to better the lives of those around them.
In addition to supporting Denver’s philanthropic community, Jeremy also believes strongly in being an active member of Denver’s business community. He serves as a board member of the Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, which is the nation’s fourth-largest chapter with nearly 500 members. He also is an advisory board member of Colorado Succeeds, a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of business leaders committed to improving the state's public education system.
Jeremy also is the publisher of the Denver PR Blog (http://denverprblog.com), Colorado’s most-visited public relations website. The site helps thousands of Denver’s marketing community members stay up-to-date on news and information affecting the public relations industry. He also supports Denver-area business organizations such as the Denver Press Club and the Legal Marketing Association’s Rocky Mountain chapter.
