dovetail solutions participated in its annual service day on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Denver Botanic Gardens

dovetail solutions partnered with the Denver Botanic Gardens and volunteered their morning to help develop the Children's Garden. Volunteers took part in a number of activities, including moving dwarf conifers and transplanting and potting perennials.

The dovetail team enjoyed the great weather and breathtaking landscapes at the Denver Botanic Gardens. About 250 trees and perennials were planted in the Children's Garden on Saturday that will be seen for years to come.

Bluff Lake Nature Center is a unique urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom in east Denver, adjacent to the Stapleton neighborhood. Bluff Lake's 123 acres are home to an abundance of animals and native plants, with a variety of habitats, including short-grass prairie, wetlands and a riparian corridor.

dovetail solutions worked at Bluff Lake on the Autumn Restoration Project. The autumn restoration project will help restore the native habitat in and around the lake. dovetail employees, clients, vendors, and volunteers engaged in a variety of restoration projects, which included planting grass, removing invasive Russian Olive trees, pulling noxious weeds and planting native willow and cottonwood trees along Sand Creek.
